Signing prints

I am starting to sell more of my prints and purchasers want them signed, I know this may seem like a stupid question but most of them seem to have a darkish background and so dark coloured OHP pens will not show up. Any suggestions what sort of pen would work? And where I might get one? It needs to be a light colour.

Thanks

Are you a photographer for big cat diary? Marvellous shots, lucky fella.

Have you tried the Silver or Gold fine "tube" nib pens stocked by the likes of WH Smiths - as used by most of us at Christmas! ...... may work ???

Hello Paul

I was going to suggest what mike said I use these on prints with a dark background and it looks good.

I always sign in pencil on a beige mount, then frame the picture

Thanks for the tips, I will get myself down to WHS. Its only a problem when I just sell the print as I agree it looks better on the mount when it is framed.

I do what Larry does, though I also keep mounts and backing board for those who want to buy their own frame. Peter
