I am finally getting to some images I shot last spring. I used a program called PANORAMA MAKER by Arc Soft. to do this image. I am very impressed by this program.
This field of wild iris is known by many locals but is bypassed by the general public that doesn't know where it is. It is only about 1a 5 minute walk off one of the most travelled paths in the park. However, you cannot see it from the path. These iris bloom between mid May- early June depending on the temperature & rain.
This was a great day to shoot . It had rained all night and the cold front came through leaving bright blue sky with great clouds. You would figure that late morning , usually the light would be bad, but on this day things worked out pretty good.
No filtration was used in this image. ( Nikon D200, Nikon 28-70 2.4 /tripod pan shot 3 images
Beautiful, Jack! I haven't seen but a few yellow Iris' .

Jack,
You know how I like this one. Great sky you've captured and the colors are just grand.

This is beautiful, Jack!
I found some wild yellow Iris a couple blocks away from me last spring, near the edge of some woods. This year I found them again just as they were coming up. I went back when the Iris should have been in bloom, they were gone! Seems someone pulled them out of the ground, more than likely transplanting them on their own property.
