A month or two ago, in a social setting, my 5-year old daughter revealed the following utterance to some stunned people within earshot, "All my Daddy talks about is the F-word." She continued,"If he isn't doing it, he is thinking about doing it."
Actually, I havent really been fishing in quite a while. But as most of you in here know, I spend alot of time photographing it - especially fly fishing. Here is a pretty cool article in the Mountain XPress (Asheville) by a talented writer, Sam Wardle, on a recent fishing/photography trip.
Great article - -and certainly not a bad plug! Hat's off!

That is a belly aching funny story and a very enjoyable read and your fly fishing gallery speaks for it's self.
Just a little extra info: I started my reunion with photography from trout fishing and wandering around the creeks and woods when the fish weren't biting.Next step was going out just for the views, then bringing a camera..then hiking for waterfalls, then seeing wildlife at early hours to avoid the crowds-all with camera in tow and all inter connected. Fishing and Outdoor Photography both have the same end to an unfruitful day-you got to spend it outside

Great article!!
Richard, a great story. I had a similar experience with my four year old grandson recently. We were on the interstate heading to a relative's house and he announced that he needed to go potty. I ask him he could hold it for a little while. He got this most puzzled look on his face, reached down and grabbed himself, and replied, "yes papa I can hold it". You just never know what is in a child's mind. Wonderful article by the way. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
