When i was in yellowstone this year, I had to tell alot of people to keep back from the mother bear and cubs . I am the quite type , But to watch a guy with his son walking closer to the mother bear to take a photo with a cell phone camera you have to say something. the last photo is the best type of traffic jam in yellowstone ( i think)

I think a more appropriate title would be Idiots in Yellowstone. For the sake of the animals and the people's well-being they should have a quiz that all entrants take to screen out the uneducated. Those are probably the same people who'd turn around and sue the park service. Like this kid's family who sued Yosemite for their son dying in a glacier point climbing rock slide.

I find it laughable that in the popular parks you see hundreds of people in a single location with nice photo equipment. Where are these people the rest of the year? Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Yellowstone are among the few places I've seen huge glass being used. I see birds everyday everywhere I go but no telescopes chasing them.

I was once in a parking lot re arranging my car in Olympic NP. A family drove in & parked. There were a few deer hangin out as they do quite often in this parking lot. This family gets out of the car and a kid about 2 or 3 runs ( and I mean runs) up to this deer. The mother & father stood there & wastched her runnung towards the deer & did nothing or didn't even yell at her to tell her to stop The deer kicked her & knocked her over.

The result is the father called the rangers who promptly shot the deer.

Can you all read my mind?

I'm having a hard time deciding who's stupider. The parents or the people who decided to shoot the deer.

The parents, IMO, Richard.

If they didn't do something, the parents probably would have sued the park or something.

The ranger aimed at the wrong target, IMHO.
