a thread on another forum reminded me that i never posted this over here. i know there was some interest when rick dunn showed how he converted his pickup to allow sleeping inside. well, for those of us that don't have the luxury of a wide open bed to work with, here's one adaption that's been working for me.

hmmmm, that's odd. http://www.srosenberg.com/Website7/camper1.html seems to be working on my end. i'm having server issues with my host, but things seem ok now. first page is text, construction is on the following pages. 'next page' links are on the bottom of each page.

Well done! And you got to use cool words like cuboidal and dado!  I really like the way it folds up for storage in the cargo area.

Scott - looks like a good solution to me.

I like it! 6'-5"? And you fit back there? Nice work, I wouldn't have thought that there was that much room in there. Norm Abram would be proud!

Very nice work, Scott!
I built a platform for the bed of my Tacoma but ultimately find it easier to just toss everything to the sides and throw a pair of open-cell foam pads down the middle.

Hey Guy

Have you tried Furniture Mattress Supply in Murray? They custom cut me some 4" foam for my Tacoma. Reallyyy nice.

4" eh? That does sound plush... I'll have to look them up. Thanks!

Hey Scott - that is nice! Where can I order the plans for a 6'-8" vesion to fit into a Grand Cherokee?
