Taken from a hide at Titchwell yesterday.
This bird came out reasonably weel in the open reeds that had been recently cut in front of the hides.
Odd over hanging reed stem cloned out as best as I could.

D2X, 600mm AFS II + 1.4 conv.

Hi Major,
A nice clean capture with great comp and sharpness, I reckon it needs some levels adjustment though to bring it out to its full glory.

Hi

Nice capture. I'm trying for similar.

I can see you cloning work pretty easily though. Also a couple of spots in top right corner?

Regards

Hello Major
I agree with Tim, but could it be your web format? I'm afraid I have to agree with Antony about the cloning, too. Nonetheless, its still a nice image - just a little more work!
Best wishes

Hi Major

Nice image, good pose and composition. I am not so sure the levels need that much adjustment, I quite like it as it is but might be worth tweaking around a bit to see if it can be improved.

I have to agree the cloning artifacts are a bit too obvious, the reed stem to the right and going across the bird is still faintly visible..

cheers

Very nice shot, indeed. Elegant. The cloning has been mentioned often enough now!
