Kim,

I've received the same email, and just yesterday a follow up. I ignored the email the first time, this time I'll tell him I'm not interested.

My basic policy on requested links is that unless I am both familar with the requester and have a good opinion of the person/company, I don't bother to reply.

Most people here I would be comfortable with exchanging links. So far, the only commercial offers I have gotten have been from NYC camera stores I would never be spending money at in the first place, much less be willing to endorse.

Fotos Search Stock Photography I have heard of/about, but I can't recall what I heard, whether it was good or bad. Sorry, I can't help you there.

Same as Dan, I also ignore these unless it's someone I know. Most times it's people trying to make a quick buck from selling web ads.

Good friends have sites for three of their (non-photographic) business enterprises. They decided to try playing the "link game" and agreed to link requests for a while. Junk mail immediately sky rocketed, to the point that each and every day they go on the server and eliminate something in excess of 500 before accessing their mail directly. That's 500 a day that make it through the filter applied by their server. Any time you link, you inherit the junksters from your links along with their good or bad filtering practices. How much spare time did you say you have?

I received the same link exchange request. I visited the site and saw it is a RF stock sales site. I responded that I do not support royalty free (RF) stock image sales and that I was not interested in exchanging links.
