I was in Köln (cologne) yesterday and got to know from a local shop owner that there will be a similar to rebel xt body with 10.2 MP count. I'm not sure if it is just a rumour. Have you heard anything?
With nikon announcing a 10mp ~D70 I thought canon will offer 12mp ~xt.

Canon is going to announce a new consumer body, but I'd be surprised if it has more than 8 mp...I expect just a minor upgrade of the 350D.

Well Juza, I do not know if a minor upgrade is going to help. Hope people dont run after it just for some cosmetic changes or features they don't need or know how to use. But thats the way it always has been.

I would love to see an upgraded 5D. And 350D with bigger and brighter view finder.
