Hi all, my new camera still hasn't arrived , It will be another week before everything gets here and then I'll have to re-train my eye as it's been a while since I've been behind a camera.
Thought I'd share this photo from the Japanese Gardens. I took this a couple years ago with the 10D and the 17-40 @17mm and f16. According the file info the shutter speed was 2 seconds. Wow, I probably shoulda opened it up a bit to get a quicker shutter speed.
Forgive me if the color is horrible, I'm processing this on my laptop which I haven't really spent much time calibrating. What do you think of the comp? Any other sugguestions?

Classic image. Great comp. I'm not tired of seeing this tree quite yet. Add a cooling filter in PS for more accurate color tone. This gets even better as the leaves fade into reds a week or two later.
Love it dude. A little yellow, but still a very cool image. You did this one proud.

LOL Ned, yea, the memories of Bridal Veil are flooding back into my brain...wait, no, that was YOUR camera that was getting flooded...DOH! Indeed, I can't wait to get the camera and start shooting with you all again.
Rick, thanks dude, it really is way too yellow for sure.
