Female Emerald Damselfly
I took this image on the same day as the Northern Emerald Dragonfly. These guys were very common and extremely photogenic, it had been raining on and off all day but the light was still superb. There are some great Dragonfly sites in Britian but nothing compares to Loch Maree in Scotland.

Canon EOS 1D MkII, 180mm Lens, Tripod, F11, 1/15, ISO Rating 200.

Hi Danny

A great composition, the yellow flowers are in pristine condition and would make a good photograph in themselves. The inclusion of the dragonfly is a icing on the cake and a super image overall. Good work, you definitely made the most of your Scotland trip.

Good light, nice and sharp, no nits really.

Hello Danny
Thumbs up from me. The second lower flower takes my eye staright back to the 'fly, and the water droplets make it that bit different.
Best wishes

Hi Danny a very good shot of these critters. I think maybe it could take a bit of saturation.
