Having a new baby really does cut short your free time, no time for taking new images at the mo' so here's one from a few years ago! which I scanned in to the PC a few weeks back...before sleepness nights.

Canon EOS 1v, 180mm macro lens, fuji sensia

Hi Larry,

Nice colourful image and well composed.

Regarding the sleepless nights, when our daughter was around 12 weeks we started giving her about a quarter of Farley's Rusk mixed with milk from her last bottle at night and she started going right through the night until about 8am  and she has done ever since, she is now 15 months old! Obviously this may not work for you, but if it does it's brill !!

Regards

Rob

We've put Daniel on hungry baby milk every two hours from around 8pm ..he usually settles down at around 1:30am and it sends him through the night fooddwise but we need to get up at around 4am and refresh his nappy...i have to get up for work at 7am..so for the past 10 weeks i've averaged 2-3 hours sleep a night...sometimes if i want to get up early to go out with the camera well then i have no sleep at all... :jump:
Good Idea about the rusks..will have to try it :wavey:

Hi Larry

An excellent behavioural shot, good composition and detail. My only minor nit is the background is a bit distracting to the eye on this image, I think because all of the out of focus outlines of the grass are in different directions and make my eyes go a bit funny. Sometimes this effect is difficult to avoid other than opening up the aperture a bit and hoping you can keep the subject sharp.

cheers

Sean

Hello Larry

Nice image of interesting behaviour, reading your posts reminds of my time with my little ones, great times and it just gets better.
