Mountain Morning
Somewhere in the cascades. Can anyone recognize this peak? It's one of my favorite places.

It is simply beautiful Marc. I hope to get down there this autumn.

HOLY SMOKES!!!! That color is just awesome for one thing... wonderful shot... how hard was it to get to this point? I'm guessing must have been a bit of a hike, but maybe theres short distance access?

About 20 miles on curvey, dirt, mountain roads and five miles on foot. Not too bad, except of course if you have a big rig with you.

Good thing when I bought my last car I went for AWD

You might be surprised what them babys (big rig) can handle, they ride high, and you can flip it in to have both drive axels drive, can you say 8 drive tires?

Actually theres a paved one in Colorado to bypass the I-70 I think it is tunnel, that is quite fun, approx 20mph just because of the naroness and curves, all hazmat and high trailers have to use it, I more often than not have a high trailer... as a mater of fact, I don't think I've ever been THROUGH the tunnel :frown:

Awesome shot, Marc, for all the reasons others have already stated. BTW, it also works for me as a square crop...
