I'm looking to buy a 13" x 66' roll of Moab Entrada for mu R2400 but have a concern. My concern - Moab Kayenta 13x66 will not fit on my Epson roll holders - it's too big around. I know, Kayenta is thicker than Entrada. My question - is the thickness difference enough to allow the whole roll of Entrada to fit on the roll holder?

If not, what are you guys doing with the excess - mine invaribly seems to either get wrinkled, bent, smudged, etc.

Bill,

I don't use the Epson rollers. What I do is cut grooves on both sides of the cardboard box the roll came in, place a piece of pipe or rounded stick (I cut a piece of an old broomstick) through the roll and support it on the grooves, and feed the paper through the rear sheet feeder. Works like a charm and no issues of mounting the paper on the flimsy Epson rollers.

Nothing like broomstick engineering! Sounds like a great idea. I've got an old piece of 3/4" PVC pipe sitting in the garage. Thanks Guy!

Bill, just in case you are not aware, the Moab site does offer a 13"x40' roll for Entrada.
Don't know if this 26' difference would solve your issue.

Thanks Bill - I wasn't aware of that. The place where I buy Moab doesn't carry a shorter roll - I'll ask them about it.
