One of the last wild places in the US - rugged coast of Olympic national park. This one is only accessible by a backpack, and that makes it even better. I was very fortunate with the sunset that night. this is one of my favorite shots from that evening.
Thomas: I really do like this, despite that fact that there is alot going on. Eyes are clearly drawn to the outer seastack or island. Othe other thing I like about this is the fact that it shows how to effectively break the rule of thirds. Area looks like Shi Shi beach. Tell us about your exposure data.
Your recent Saint Helens shot over on ESS wasn't too shoddy either, btw.

Really beautiful.... a place for everything in this one. I am also drawn to the bright relection to the right of the seastack. I like it even though it is very bright compared to the rest of the image.
Pretty cool, it has a lot of different moods in one, the sky is bright and warm, yet angry, the water almost looks like ice up close, very wicked... You all get such wonderful shots of the ocean water, I'm UBER jealous as always...
