Female Stonechat
Taken at Dawlish warren in Devon last year. HAven't been out for ages nor had much time to comment on others work, but still trying to pop in for a look whenever possible.

Think I may have over processed this slightly?

Regards

Comments and critique welcome as usual.

Hi Graeme

Yes it looks oversharpened, but clearly it is sharp so just ease off the USM a bit. Is it a big crop? The detail in the feathers seems to be very pixelated which could be an effect of your post processing and sharpening or the effect of a big crop.

Other than that this is a fine image with nice light, a perfect background, and a good pose from the Stonechat.

cheers

Sean

Back off the USM a bit as it does look a bit over-processed. Otherwise a nice shot of a bird that I haven't seen many of this year. For printing, I'd probably crop from the bottom slightly and also remove the remains of the leaf.

Very nice shot, when all of the above has been sorted out!
