Has anyone had any experience with this product yet. I know it's new but maybe some of you have tried it.

Thoughts?

I thought that desert varnish was the organic coating deposited on southwestern rocks on which the early indigenous peoples engraved their petroglyphs.

This is probably what Jack is talking about. The other desert varnish is not particularly new. I haven't tried the Moab paper company stuff.

I just ordered a can and gave it a try on the Moab Entrada 300 paper. I didn't notice any change in the print appearance after applying the 3 recommended light coats. I obviously can't evaluate the UV protection and I still need to see if it helps protect the surface from scuffing.
