Minor nit, a bit trivial in this case, but a bit more detail in the eye of the nearest tern would be the icing on a very nice cake, but otherwise faultless in my opinion.

And what a perfect backdrop too.

p.s. A techie question, did you intend to use such a fast shutter speed, 1/6400th seems very high even for an action shot like this one. I would normally go for a bit more on the f-stop in this situation and ease off on the shutter and ISO setting.

Hi Tom an excellent shot. I like the composition and the interaction between the two birds.The gradient of the colour in the sky is beautiful.

It appears you have captured a bit of courtship behavior - one parental prospect feeding the other - sort of a test of the partner's maternal instincts. Jolly fine old chap!
