Well, being as Scottish as I am, I never go and pay full price on anything when I can get the same quality for less. I was on ebay and as reluctant as I usually am I came across a Camera Back Back touted to be every bit as good as a LowePro Nature Trekker AW II . Well for $75.00 I was willing to take the risk, rather than playing Online Poker.

I got the bag today right when the merchant said I would and I am completely amazed at the quality. I compaired it to a friend's LowePro and from every angle it was as good if not better. All the Padding and internal stuff I could ever want or need, the tripod mount and suspension system were perfect and ruggedly built too.

It's called the Mekko Nature Trekker AW II made in Torrance California Designed by by Maxline, who I know for Tennis Racquet Bags. so for anyone looking for a good bag for a little less money, let me know, I'll point you to the place I bought it or go to http://stores.ebay.com/GoShotCamera

Does it come with a llama? I'm sure my back would give out before the pack would... Good find.

There doesn't appear to be room for a Cliff Bar, better get the next size up.

Seriously, it looks like a good deal. Let us know how the zipper holds up. Thanks for sharing.

Actually that's a Stock photo, I pack a lot less than that, as I made room in the strap stow for my camel pack bladder too. Loaded with my gear minus the tripod it weighs in at around 30#lbs maybe 40. I only carry 2 Bodies and 4 lenses, 1 flash and some field cleaning gear. I just got this one for the organizational aspects and the room for video gear should I need it.

Jim, I'm Scottish too oddly enough! What are the zips like on this pack, big and tough or ....???

The Zippers are pretty rugged, like those I've used in my flight kit in the Navy when I had a pararigger-build me a custom survival pack back in the day. I've broken the Bag down already and rebuilt it to fit my needs and thus far I'm pretty happy with it! I like the rain cover too!The only bad thing is that it wasn't made in Scotland, that and i had a sudden craving for Baby Back Ribs!! :jump:
