Hey gang, I'm a big fan of the weekly Pacific Northwest Magazine in the Seattle Times. It comes out every Sunday and has all kinds of interesting articles with GREAT photography.
This time they did an article on birds of the Pacific Northwest. And of course the images are REALLY well done.
Thanks for that link, Rick. The online article only showed one bird shot, a nice one, but it was enjoyable reading about the photographer, Paul Bannick. His approach to getting avian shots is one that I also ascribe to. I think it would be quite worthwhile to go see his presentations (too bad they're in Seattle area and not down here in Portland!).
Geoff click on the image of the bird and it will bring up a popup that walks you through 11 imges of birds. Very much worth going back and looking.

Oops... I should have clicked on the picture! Okay, I went back and did that and got to see all 11 Rick. Very nice. I especially like his shots of the Cedar Waxwing and the Western Bluebirds although I think that the image saturations were a bit overdone (that could be due to the web presentation however).
