Hi,
Took this whilst being told off by a Merlin, perhaps this means I've stumbled opon something or perhaps it was just alarm calling.

Cheers now

Hi Tim

An excellent macro shot (as always....). Good composition, good background, no real nits with this one. 1 - 0 to you today on butterflies, I went looking for Chalkhill Blue's and found none

cheers

Sean

Nice photo but I think you need to lose the other flower stem as it's a great distraction

As an environmental shot the flower stem can stay, as a portrait it needs to go, IMHO.
Beautiful shot of the butterfly. Well up to your usual standard. Well done.

Hi Tim,

Great shot and well exposed. I would agree with those regarding getting rid of the other stem.

With the Merlin Tim, if a bird is alarm calling it's always best to turn around and walk away

Regards

Rob

A beautiful shot.

Excellent subject on a superb perch.

The additional flower stem doesn't bother me in the slightest.
