maybe a 3 stop grad to hold back the white sky.

Peggy and I did an overnight backpack trip to Mt Hood this weekend. We hiked up the Vista Ridge trail to the Wy'East Basin and then wandered off to find a good site to camp. The wildflowers are pretty nice up there right now. We didn't have very good weather though, it was cloudy and windy, it rained that night (maybe even snowed a bit) and then was off and on drizzly this morning.
It was pretty cool though, it was wild and windy and all clouded in, we were alone with all these beautiful flowers and trees around. We lounged in the tent, talking and drinking coffee.
I shot a little but didn't get anything really great. This was about the best shot.
We camped right where that snow field is pointing to.

Enjoyed your photos. You can send the camp shot to Rei for their next catalog.
