Over the Summer there has been some great Badger images posted first by Dave Courtney and then by David Kjaer. At the time Tom W and myself were feeding a family of Badgers but were not even close to getting any decent images, but we have stuck with it and are now starting to get some results. I am still pursuing Water Voles, so doing them in the Mornings and Badgers in the evenings, I am really enjoying my photography at the moment working with two beautiful and facinating mammals.

Hi Danny
great shot of the Badger. I like the expression on the Badger's face and the Badger stands out from the rest of the picture. I also like the composition.

A good badger shot with very well controlled use of the flash. Composition wise for me it is slightly too tightly framed but I appreciate how tricky these types of image are so top marks for your perseverance, I hope you get more opportunities during the rest of the summer.
Hello Danny

Thanks Phil, while I was away in the Treshnish Isles I lost a close friend to a sudden illness and it really hit home that life is so short, for the first time I have really started to treasure what I have got and want to enjoy what I do.

The work you and Tom have put in over the weeks is certainly paying off. A very well exposed image, showing these fascinating mammals.

70-200 lens? Were you sat in it's set waiting for it to come home?
Very nice BG and the rock adds to it a lot. Possibly a bit tight for me too, but that's very minor indeed.
