Had an opportunity to dust off my camera and take to the hills this past weekend after far too long away. Shot this coming along the trail as it winds back toward Tipsoo (just above Chinook Pass). Used a 1 stop GNDF to attempt to keep the white sky from blowing out completely, but it looks kind of pathetic at the tree line with all the fringing. Nonetheless, you can get a sense of the color, the view, the amazing and beautiful flowers, fresh air... etc. The flowers are beautiful up there, even a few avalanche lilies still in bloom. Hoping to get more shooting opportunities in the next few weeks. I can see that my little Canon is getting out of practice, and it really needs me.
