I took this image last night as the sun was setting and pouring rain. No rainbow however. Robbie George

Glad you got something over there. Darren K, John Zinn and I made the trek up to Loveland Pass last night for sunset, and were 100% shut out. Nada, zip! :biggrin: Oh well, good conversation among friends made up for it!

Nice work, Robbie. I find the sun a little overwhelming in the scene, but the foreground tree and layers make for a strong image.

I'm a sucker for an overwhelming sun!! I think this is outstanding. Great sense of depth with the shading, and I think the tree on the right third holds great weight and pulls the eye through. Very nice!!
