Hi Folks,
Had a serious lack of time for much photography over the last few months, however I've managed a few outings last week to catch up with my local Roe population. Not an awful lot of rutting behaviour so far unfortunately but I did manage to grab a few portraits of this Doe just before the sun sank below the horizon.
All comments always welcome and appreciated.

An excellent environmental shot. The light on the grass flowers balance the image nicely. The sharpness of the eyes is spot on IMHO.
It's a pleasure to be viewing your outstanding work again. Really like everything about this one, the colours are fantastic and the light is to die for.
Well done
Regards
Rob

Glad to see you posting and contributing to the forum again.
This is a lovely shot with great light, a great pose and a fantastic setting with the heather. No nits, a super portrait of this deer.

Hello Justin
Wow what a great shot, great light, great setting, great subject. Roe Deer are one of my favourite animals but I only got the one chance to photograph them and that was in Norway, tried so many times but with no success, so dead jealous would love to have something half as good.
