Hello all,

It's been waaay too long since I've been by. We lost our main pharmacist, two more pharmacists, then we were overworked, had my tires slashed, I took a vacation, had my bike stolen, then I walked from my job b/c of my boss. How was your summer?

Anyway, now that I have more time on my hands (for a little anyway), did anyone see the newest Portland Magazine? It has the Gorge trails in it, a decent amount from the Washington side of things.

I just thought I'd chime in. And don't worry about me, if I go back to Walgreens, they may pay me big bucks up front. Which means I will petition bigtime for a 5D    Marc, you sellin' your dry one???

Kevin

Sorry to hear about all that Kevin. Man, sounds like you've just been getting crapped on this summer. Hang in there dude!

I haven't seen that magazine but we just picked up a pretty cool book at Costco about hikes within the an hour of Portland/Vancouver. Its pretty cool as it tells you how to get there, how long the hike is, how tough it is, what to expect and the best time of year for the hike. The book is called Afoot & Afield, Portland/Vancouver by Douglas Lorain, Wilderness Press. It even has hikes for rainy days...go figure

Nice to hear from you Kevin, I can relate to the stolen bike part of your summer - mine happened in Jan. to a like new Gary Fisher bike - what a horrible feeling, so I'm sorry to hear about that (and all the other adventures).

We subscribe and love the PM magazine. We use it a lot to plan family outings since there is so much great info in there......

Hang in there !!

Don't let them get you down. It's an opportunity to emphasize just how consistent the core mission is. Sounds like the important stuff is intact. So post some new images soon!
