Hey Mr. Originality, great stuff! How'd it look around Lake Constantine? I've been wanting to camp there and use it as a basecamp for exploring Tuhare.

Thanks! Yeah, a trip report is on the way. I'll post a note here when it's online.
Todd, Constantine is a very popular spot. I spotted at least 4 groups of 4+ campers while hiking past the lake. My buddy Kevin has camped there a few times and he said there always seems to be a crowd (summer weekends anyway). The lake isn't completely visible from the main trail, so I only got a brief glimpse of a small portion of the lake (we were in a hurry to get higher and the mosquitos were some of the worst I've ever seen). Aside from the popularity factor, it looks like a great place to camp - with several nice forested spots all around. There's also more camping available just above the lake along the creek. I remember commenting that I'd camp there if the lake was my destination. We camped just below the lower Tuhare lake, and had this valley to ourselves. I can give you more details/suggestions offline. I can't wait to go back! It's already on my schedule for next summer. The Tuhare Lakes area is just the tip of the iceberg - in terms of awesome scenery to enjoy/photograph.
Nice work Jesse! I just got back from Missouri Lakes in the Holy Cross Wilderness this weekend . That is one of my favorite areas and I will add this to my list of lakes to visit in that area for sure.
BTW - I really like both the images posted here. The angles give them a very dramatic feel.

Nope, no tilt. The shot is bubble leveled, as I was standing on a steep slope.
