Classic pose, detail superb, I find the background to the right distracting but not too much.

Agree with David as regards the background. Could do with cloning out. Otherwise great! :toast:

Yes, the right-hand side is slightly distracting, but only marginally so, and a clone, or even a crop, should sort that out. No mean feat to get every last square millimetre of the butterfly sharp, which you have done superbly. A beautifully-detailed shot - well done!

Hi Philip,

A really fine shot of this beautful species.

The main thing that grabs my attention, is just how parallel you've managed to get your camera,so as keeping every part of the wing tack sharp.

Hi Phillip

Super shot - BG doesn't really bother me but I do find it a little tight in the frame!

Hi Phillip

A nice shot. The composition is a bit too tight for my taste but it does have excellent detail and sharpness. I would prefer the right hand side background to be a bit cleaner but it is not a big issue, I don't find it especially distracting and it does help to give a bit more sense of the habitat.

cheers

Sean
