Grape Desiccant
Lately it's been slow in the photo department - at least for me. So I thought I'd get out and shoot a little last night. Everything was pretty wilted and kind of burnt, and this grape leaf was pretty representative. Perhaps an odd composition, but it matched the landscape.

Boy I know what you mean about being slow ... I've only taken about a dozen photos in the last 2 months! I'm probably getting rusty by now.

I almost get the sense of this being a mircro-photography type image, maybe looking inside a blood vessel or something. The oof top of the image kind of leads me down the "vessel" into a world of the unknown. Very interesting shot Tim, glad you were able to get out! Thanks for posting, and BTW, congrats on the banner, great job! We're looking good now!

I'm glad to see your getting out with your camera - lately I've seen some really nice light in the mornings and evenings (if you can bear the heat!).

Tim - I think this is one that I have to spend some time looking at. I like the texture and the detail in the FG, and how it fades into a blur in the BG. Not my favorite of yours, but still a nice abstract. Thanks for the post!
