Went out this morning on my first outting with the new camera. I gotta say...I dig full frame and wide angles. Not that I did them any justice but I still dig it.

Here's my first attempt at shooting Multnoma Falls really wide. Let me know what you think and what you'd do to improve it.

Thanks

Eric,
Congrats on the new camera. That full frame looks like it comes in real handy with this shot. This particular perspective is real nice. I don't think I've seen this angle before.

First off...I love these early morning shots....the colors are great!!!

Second. I was there today.....the parking lots were cramed full of people it was a madhouse...I took my inlaws to see the falls on the old highway....and all I could think of was why did I not get up this morning and go shooting......the water flow is perfect this time of year........

Great shot, I've never seen Multnoman shot from this angle before, but somehow the picture doesn't tell me of the scale of the waterfall, I mean it doesn't seem as tall as it is.

vertical pano crop Erik. This is a great shot as is. I like the FG you chose, and the sky didn't blow out as is the norm for this falls. But, I did a browser crop from the left and a vertical pano makes this really strong IMHO.

Curtis, thanks. Actually the sky did blow out bigtime. This is two shots, one exposed for the sky and one for the falls.

Eric,
Congrats on the cam. Sorry I couldn't get out with you guys, can't wait to hook up and shoot with you again. I guess it would have been uncomfortable sitting on Ned's lap in your Porche anyway ;)
Love the perspective. The skewed top makes it look almost storybook. The sky looks a tad overworked...maybe not for web, but probably for print...but that's being ultra picky.

Hey Eric,

Long time no see! A classic with a great new cam, too! I'm envious, and if luck has it I'll get one of those things too...
