The sky was really pulling out all the stops for this sunset!

Oh, my Larry, the world is ablaze. The rock is so dramatic but what really sets this image off are the tiny, almost insignificant people who help set the scale to this burning world. Nice job. :toast:

Now that's HOT... and beautiful. Comp with the rock, clouds and beach are great, and the people on the reflecting beach are the perfect addition.

Great colour, and the sense of scale that the people add makes all the difference. My only nit would be that the one person isn't sharp due to your shutter speed...

Larry--great timing on the sun just peaking through. You have to love the tea-cup at Kawinda. Great image!

Stunning image! Besides what others have mentioned, I love the way the soft whites/grays interact with their harder counterparts in the waves; these whites intensify the effect of the other, fiery colors.

Skies don't some more intense than this but you have put together a very fine composition as well.

What a great shot, Larry. Congratulations. Love the people in there; right to the proper scale-- insignificant in the face of Nature.
