I was looking through my pics from a PNWNP outing to Mt. Rainier last summer and found this among them. Taken from my favorite viewpoint near Paradise.

Wow - this is fantastic. I like the framing effect of the trees in the frame. Must have been fun to capture this scene on film. Nice to see you posting again.

Hey Jim,

Long time, no see! I hope you'll continue to post photos into the summer. I always enjoyed your work. This one is no exception! Those low clouds and wonderful color in the sky put this one over the top for me. The FG trees provide just enough interest without competing with the other elements within the frame.
