Fall Ripples -#346 Puzzles

Gallery: Weekly ChallengePosted August 29, 2008925 views8 comments

This too would be a tough puzzle to figure out. It is the ripples in a pond with the reflected colors of the fall foliage. Taken with Canon 5D, using 28-135 IS lens, F5.6, 1/15 sec. ISO125, WB auto, polarizer, handheld.

To see another version with different shaped ripples, click on my "All photos". Took a series of about 5 images, and the ripples changed with each shutter click. Isn't nature amazing!

Comments always welcomed.

Hi Patricia, This is a beautiful image and would make a wonderful puzzle

The image has a wonderful sense of depth, almost the feeling of being inside a rotating tunnel.

I see the water ripples quite well but I'm at mystery as to the square reflections. Quite amazing
