Platypus Moth

This is a fictitious name - but isn't this insect oddly reminiscent of a platypus? However, in this case the duck bill is replaced with a bottlebrush. Has anyone seen something similar on your outtings?

Full frame, Catherine Creek Watershed - Columbia River Gorge just after first light.
