Longs Peek

This weekend we had our first snowfall and yesterday morning the storm began to break. This is Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park beginning to appear from behind the clouds at sunrise. It never fully showed itself and shortly after this shot was completely covered.

Very nice, Erik. I really like this. Probably one of my favorites from you as well. Gotta love the layers, snow, clouds, light and color in those aspen.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww! You really took advantage of the snow here. It perfectly enhances the contrast between the evergreens and the aspens, and the cloudy mountains are icing on the cake. :toast: :toast: :toast:

In Portugal this scenery is kind of impossible, mountains are low, snow ir rare, and when it cames the fall is gone...so this may be my dream "photo snow fall mountain". I hope one day in my live I can see with my own eyes such a magical moment like this
