Hi Jeremy

This is a great follow up to your last image. The light beams look great and nicely exposed. On my monitor the scene looks a tad dark in the foreground perhaps a little adjustment there? Regardless, this is strong image.

The light rays are beautifully captured here and the processing is spot on. The background light makes the tree trunks contrast and stand out really well.

It looks like that little green tree is being blessed. Is that what you had in mind with the title?
The amount of light on that tree balances the comp beautifully. Excellently done.

Thanks guys! I think the web version is probably a bit darker than I intended, try this Mike, thanks.

Morris, it was really crazy how many beams were popping in and out and spotlighting certain things. It was a great morning. This was just one of the better one I saw.

Thank you.

Hi Jeremy,

This one is really neat. Living in northern California and having been to such spots, I can really identify with the scene. You have done a fantastic job here with both composition and exposure.

Of the two versions, I prefer the 2nd one more.

wonderful streaks of light. Maybe lighten up some foreground plants just a wee bit, maybe not. works as is.

That's the best kind of light for this place, nice way to use the light beams as leading lines too. The repost rocks!

We just don't have fog like this all that often here, so I'm always in awe of these shots from the pacific coast.

I really like the shot, but just a step or two to the left or right would have cleared the lit small tree from the taller one in front. I think this would improve the image, but obviously there is nothing to be done about it now.

Jedediah Smith State park again? I like it a lot! The light from the side creates a great mood. The comp. also works fine. The redwoods in northern california were my favorites. More lush dense and rain-frorest-like than further in the south.
