Lovely scene KK. Great light and the pano crop was a good choice in this situation.
Just a quick question out of interest if you don't mind. I see you are using the 5Dmk2 lately, do you prefer it over your 1Dsmk3?

Vincent I use the 5DMkII as a back-up. I prefer the faster frame-rate for wildlife on the 1DsMkIII. I was using 2 bodies for this shoot. Since the 24-105mm is less likely to be used for wildlife I put it on the 5DMkII. I don't think there's much difference in quality.

Wow, very nicely captured. Love everything about it especially the light, the scenery, and the elephants just put it over the top.

Very beautiful animalscape!
The tree seems to be balancing the two elephants.

Hi Kah Kit,
A very nice composition and excellent use of light. I particularly like the subtleties of the sky. Very well done - no nits on this for me.
Cheers...

I could pinpoint exactly where in the world you were standing when you took this pic from the thumbnail.
Nice balance, super sky and lovely light all add up to making this a very nice capture of the feeling of the place..

Beautifully captured. Like the late afternoon Namibian light. Nice composition with the tree almost taking center stage. Well done.
