Sony A700
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 200, 1/13 @ f22

We've been back from our trip for 2 weeks now and I'm still just scratching the surface of all the images I took. I'm so burnt out on the computer that I just had to go out and shoot this morning. Fortunately there are some fresh oleanders in full bloom less than 50 yards from the front door so I didn't have to go very far. I liked these near perfect flowers with the little bud peeking in from behind. All comments welcome.>=))>

Hi Bill, the bud firing out of the creamy smooth cluster is a nice compliment to the flowers. I can think of nothing to change. Well done! Ken S

Strong composition as usual Bill. Excellent detail and the dof decision is perfect for my tastes. Beautiful work and image.

This is excellent Bill! Composition, DOF, sharpness - everything is great and colours are just lovely. I always found oleander blossoms too "boring" without enough details but these are really amazing!

Beautiful work, Bill. The center cup part, is that called an anther? Anyways, with its scalloped edges and flowing tendrils it seems to scream wild danger.

Love the way the flowers explode from the frame, Bill, and the focus on the bud gives a delightful resting point for the eye. Great image !

A nice close-in comp here Bill, I especially like the inclusion of the bud with the mature blooms. Looking forward to seeing a few of your images from B.C.
