Shot this while moving from one place to another looking for great shot for NAD. I watched the moonset and sunrise on the bank of the Mississippi. Saw deer cross a field in the early morning light. Watched turkeys cross a road & the rising sun chase the fog from the fields. Moved to the corner of twenty acres of timber to watch the squirrels and birds begin their day. Watched cattle in a pasture while waiting to see if a deer would wander by. Returned in the evening to check for deer again. Watched the day end, the sun set and the moon rise. Captured some of these moments with the camera but all with eye and heart, that is what I appreciate.

I've spent many a trip taking photos in my mind wishing I could get some of them on camera, but for various reasons unable. Regardless, I too appreciate it all, photographed or not.

Did you bracket a lower exposure for this shot? Some more detail in the sky would be nice.

This reminds me a lot of western Missouri. The light was nice and even for you.

I like the country road scene from the top of the hill, Kendall. But your description of your day is wonderful. Each sentence conjures up an image that is not captured by a camera but is a picture all the same.

Great story! You had quite a full day of enjoying nature.

This is a nice shot of land very much like that around here. Dusty country roads are hard for me to resist! A slight boost in contrast would make the colors pop a little more.

I do intend to get back here and seewhat I can work with some better light. The sun was just up enough to give a little color. Looking back should have stayed a little longer.

Looks a lot like the roads near my home. Looks like a fun hill to drive fast over, lol
Thanks for sharing Kendall
