Acadia NP Aspens

Just back from Acadia NP with fellow NPN'er Kurt Budliger...and needless to say the anticipated high on the drive over from VT, was somewhat of a downer as the foliage this year in Acadia was less than stellar. High winds, cold temps in the low 40's and much colder on Cadilac Mtn, slate gray skies, and like I said less than stellar colors. Always a reason to go back next year...here's one shot that I did land however. C and C's welcome.

I think this might even look good with green leaves. I really like the abstract quality created by the density of these trunks.

The mix of color and boles has excellent balance. Well done.

Very nice shot, although it appears a bit "busy" at this size. Would love to see this larger.
