Was on the way to shoot some more vineyards last night and took a road I've never taken before. It was FULL of Fall colors... I passed this driveway and had to turn around to shoot it, even though time was running short.

As if it wasn't enough that you have these perfect rural scenes, you had a magical light too. Amazing image, Rick!

Great light and the twisting tree lined roadway makes for a great comp. Good for you for turning around, that stuff always haunts me for hours if I don't bang the u-turn.

The light is fantastic and the roadway, along with the fences, make for beautiful lead in lines, Rick. Well worth the little detour IMO.

I love these "roadway" images, especially with all the colorful trees, well done

Thanks for the comments everyone. I missed the good light on the vineyards because of stopping, but I think it worked out :)

Wonder what the houses looked like? Man, along this country road... every house was mansion like and had plenty of land to spare. I had to wonder what each owner did for a living...

Congratulations on the EP! Beautiful image.
From the look of the fences I would say that they raise race horses and/or grow wine for a living.

Sure glad you back-tracked for this shot, Rick! Sorry I missed seeing it before now; it's marvelous with the glowing light and inviting road, fence lines and yes! all the color. Congrats on the EP.
