A wider view of my last post. Took this one just as the sun broke through over the surrounding hills. A few minutes after this the shadows became unworkable. All comments welcome.>=))>

Wow - what a drop. The composition looks very nice and I like how the low contrast retains so much details in the rocks. Very good one, Bill.

Beautifully composed Bill, along with some excellent detail. Looks like you were hanging over the edge. Great shot.

That is one scary view! But I like it. Beautiful light range throughout the scene.

A beautiful sense of height conveyed here, and the view is quite sweet. I enjoy the added sense of depth to this image as well. I want to know what is around that corner as the cliff face bends in the background.

Great comp and pov Bill. I think the light on the trees in the upper right also adds a lot.

An amazing place, Bill. And another very fine comp to show the depth of the canyon. Really well done!

Bill,

Not being a big fan of heights and hanging over the edge... this is much more digestable as a photo! Great job with the sense of scale as the pines below really provide a sense of depth and size. I think you managed the light and exposure well and could see how this could become unmanageable quickly. I do think though that you could introduce some contrast to the scene, especially up top and without changing the bottom canyon too much. Still, great job in capturing and presenting this amazing scene.
