A photo taken in April this year on a sandy beach in Lake Vänern. Fascinating what formations that are created in the sand by the waves. Picture taken just after sunrise with my Nikon 12-24 f/4 @ f/11 and 12mm. Shutter speed 1/30s and ISO200

The colors, texture and light are really wonderful! A true masterpiece of form, tone and pattern. I also like how there is no sense of scale. It could be from two inches away or from an airplane.

Wow Christer, this is unique and gorgeous! The copper and gold jump out brilliantly - and this has a very metallic look to it. The texture and detail are amazing as well, but it's that sweeping line that ties the whole image together. Wonderfully crafted capture.

This is a very confusing image but in a good way. It takes a while to understand it. I love the textures and the contrast of the yellow and blue. Simply wonderful!

Beautiful piece of art here. I have no idea whatsoever what the scale is, but it seems that you composed it that way be design. Very nice work.

This is a very cool and unique image. I love the abstract nature of the image, almost thought it was some sort of kelp or something. Well seen.

Gorgeous abstract image Christer. The light and textures are incredible but that sweeping curve coursing through the image really makes this a superb and unique image. Fantastic.

What awesome organic forms and light! The composition works very well for me too, in particular the color contrasts and dominating line, with all the little details to savor.

Wow, this is incredible, the side lighitng makes the ripples look like an endless dune and the royal blue water really compliments the golden sand. There's loads of grogeous detail in the photo too.
Nice work Christer.

Interesting view Christer. It has a feeling that reminds me the "Dune" film. Very nice composition.

Fantastic! Great lines, textures and awesome colors from the sweet light. In addition to being drawn in by the foreground snake, the background blues are off the chart cool. :toast:
