The colors are really great in this, and I like the blurriness. It might be better if the stamens were sharper, maybe? Maybe not... At any rate, I like it.

I think it is a superb first effort! I like the abstract nature, especially in the purple portion of the image, it looks very ghost-like. The contrasting colors are also very nice.

The soft blur is wonderful, and I love the color combination. If this is your first attempt, I can't wait to see how you develop your skills in this type of photography! Very, very nice.

This is an art form approaching surreallism. I very much like the colors and blending. I like the negative space surrounding the flower.

Very nice macro work. I love the intense saturated colors and the soft light. The focus is where it needs to be with just the right amount of details.

For me the "cram" just is too heavy and instead of enhancing the image it overpowers it. I've tried this cram effect time and time again and have had the same problem. It is certainly fun, especially when you get an occasional good one.

Very well done. Purple and golden yellow go so well together. I like
ethereal feeling that you've captured here.

That's an interesting technical combination of macro tools.
Regarding the shot, I like the colors--their combination and intensity match and are lovely.
Regarding overall content and effectiveness, the image is kind of halfway between an impressionistic blur of color and defined flower parts.Perhaps an improvement would be either to have the flower less in focus so you have an even more abstract blur, or increase the DOF and have more detailed rendering.
That all said, for an initial effort this image is very well executed. I look forward to seeing your future work.

A most beautiful abstract. This absolutely glows and the
colors work wonderfully together.
