Love the patchy reds in among the bare branches and the light green lichen (?) on the FG trees. The only suggestion I have would be to crop slightly from the left to remove the color in the LLC.

I'll fall in line with Mark, love the collage but the llc doesn't compliment the rest to my eye.

Michael,

I don't know, this one is just not working for me. It appears a bit soft, could be a sharpening issue, and the centered tree with that area of orange in the LLC just seem to throw everything off.

I love the almost centered lichen covered tree and the dabbling of red surrounding it. I third Mark's and John's comment on the lower left orange elimination..... Regards, I love this!

Michael,

I'll make this a running consensus and say crop out the quarter tree/color in the LLC. I know you would lose some of the reds on that beautiful tree on the left, but I think you'll have a stronger comp for it. I really like the interesting combination of scattered reds and the lichens on the trees. Now you didn't say, but I'm hoping you got this in some form of large format - either the 8x10 or 4x5.

The only other nit is just a web one as this does seem pretty soft. I'm sure all your originals though are nice and sharp.

Very cool image, the way those foreground trees stand out from the background. The larger version looks terrific. The only thing I might suggest is to crop off the little bush in the LLC, it doesn't seem well in the scene.

Fantastic, Michael! I really love the interplay of the trees which have lost their leaves and those still retaining their fall color. My only suggestion would echo those who have suggested cropping the orange tree in the LLC.

Beautiful, Michael. Love that lichen covered tree. Hope you made a similar image with your LF gear.

I have really enjoyed all of your recent images that have this theme. The colors are sweet and the white and greenish limbs are neat. My only nit is that the web compression is not helping the sharpness of the smaller branches.
