I took this a week or so ago at an open space park in town, and I just liked the color and the backlighting.

5d, 50mm macro, handheld, iso 200, f2.5,

Comments and critiques welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

Neat shot Morris. I like your DOF/POF choice which isolates the three blades of grass. Very nice lighting also.

The light and your DOF highlights the trio of blades nicely Morris.

Neat capture Morris. I like the way the muted oof has some hint of green in places to pick up off the green centers of the blades. Only nit - the very light oof blade coming off the right side of the framing blad on the left side of image. I'd "airbrush" that out. As I said, my only nit, and it is a NIT. The image has as a main part of its color pallete - a golden amber quality which brings to mind - :toast:

Morris: Really good job of taking a mundane subject and creating a fine image. Very well seen and captured. >=))>

Very nice capture and an excellent rendition of a not so spectacular subject. Your photo brings out it's beauty and which wouldn't be apparent otherwise :toast: :toast:

I've been meaning to comment so better late than never. I like the bg, colors, lighting and the 3 grasses. I'm wondering of perhaps you could blur the horizontal grasses in the bottom section fo ra little less distintcion and more enahncement on the 3 prominent ones. Nicely done.
