This is me giving a talk to the local camera club in Berwick upon Tweed, Northumberland in North East England.

I live in the Borders, Scotland UK and its a brilliant area for wildlife and birdlife in particular. I an just a few minutes from the east coast, forty miles south of Edinburgh.

Great places to visit for bird photography include Bass Rock, it has 80,000 breeding pairs of gannets.

The Farne Islands with a mixture of breeding bird species, Arctic Terns, Common Terns, Atlantic puffin, Shags, Eider duck all at very close quarters, within a few feet.

St Abbs Head NR, with 300ft sea stacks and breeding kittiwakes guillemots and razorbills and fabulous cliff top scenery.

If you have never visited you should come some day.
