canyons and clouds

Shot this recently on a trip to Canyonlands, Utah.
Nikon D200
12 mm lens, 2-stop GND
1/90 f6.7, ISO 200
Minor adjustments and work darkening sky in Photoshop. My look over processed, and would appreciate feedback on that.
Thanks.

Hi Roger,

I don't think it looks overprocessed at all. Nice control of dynamic range. You might want to lighten the foreground a little - it looks a bit dark in comparison to the sky. Sharpening for the web looks great too. Thanks for sharing! Michael

Fantastic sky Roger. It does not look overprocessed at all.

Not overprocessed at all.
In fact, the foreground could use a bump in contrast as it appears a bit flat compared to the dramatic skies.

Thanks for all the helpful comments. Sometimes you spend so much time on an image that you lose perspective. I agree with John that the foreground needs work, ie., more contrast and perhaps a tad more exposure.

Roger,

Agree with the others that this certainly doesn't look over processed. In fact looks natural and original. You've got a great sky working here and unfortunately don't have the great light working for the bottom portion of the image. Nothing you could do about it of course, but perhaps some lightening and tweaking will improve this.

You did a nice job keeping the light balanced and retaining details in the canyon area. It's just missing that special light that we all hope for, and more times than not, don't get to capture.

Certainly looks natural, I think Lon nailed it. This looks about how I'd imagine it to be, perhaps a little on the dark side, but it doesn't have a strong lighting or subject to keep me fully engaged.
