Robert: I really like this subject and your exposure control. I'm not completely sold on the nearly 50/50 split but OTOH I like the center details. What you might consider is a wider view that gives the petals 60-65% of the frame and then crop top and bottom to a near pano aspect. Superb colors and as I look at the center details I like it even more. Nicely done.>=))>

Really nice details. I agree with Bill about the 50/50 split. And the center, with great details, is a bit too dark.

Nice detail Bob, both in the center and petals. Not sure why, but I kind of like the bilateral nature of the shot.

Fantastically good capture of the range of lights and darks, Bob. I take Bill's point about the 50/50 comp, but sunflower centres are so overpowering it's difficult to know how to treat them. I think myself you've done a really good job.
