I am not sure of the species of this butterfly. The image was captured at the Denver Butterfly Pavillion.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

Mike: This is a swallow tail but not sure of the specific name. You have done well to capture this BG which is constantly on the move. It would be helpful to see some technical info. The leave highlights are a bit strong and the BG is a bit noisy. Still a good capture.

Very nice image with well mastered composition. IMO a bit over-sharpened. Well done Mike.

I agree with Gary that the highlights on the leaves are a bit hot, but it doesn't affect the butterfly at all; the critter has nice, pretty details and good DOF. I also like the added colour of the flower (or whatever it is). There's some noise, but it sort of blends in the bg and isn't at all bothersome. I like the comp too. Great capture!

Interesting BF, Mike. As other's have commented, the highlights are hot (more than just a bit IMHO) and the BG is a little noisy. Comp and DOF are pretty good for this shot.
